Determined to Find Barton Creek

Today, I decided to take a hike along Barton Creek -- farther upstream to see if I could find running water. I had to walk 2 miles, but I found beautiful clear water and water falls! It felt like an oasis in a desert.

Still dry. I didn't even notice the lizard on the tree until this post! He is a different guy than the lizard in the top photo.

This turkey vulture was standing in a weird spot next to a small bluff and didn't seem to have any desire to move. Usually, they are flying overhead or eating something dead in the road.

Couldn't identify this one.
